Meatloaf Milano with Oven Roasted Broccoli

Lightly seasoned lean ground beef is filled with a creamy layer of gorgonzola cheese, topped with a rich marinara sauce. Served with Oven Roasted Broccoli.

Medium Prep time: 55-60 min.

Medium Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator.
*Prepare Oven Roasted Broccoli per separate cooking instructions provided.*
1.Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a foil-lined baking sheet or muffin tin (for mini meatloaves) with nonstick cooking spray.
2.Put beef and ¼ tsp. kosher salt into gallon bag with breadcrumbs and mix until well combined.
3.LOAF: Place ½ of beef mixture on baking sheet and shape into a 4x6x2" loaf. Sprinkle Gorgonzola evenly over beef to within 1" of edge. Press remaining beef mixture on top. Top with marinara sauce.
MINI LOAVES: Roll into 6 balls and press into cups of muffin tin. Evenly distribute Gorgonzola among meatloaves by pressing the middle of each ball and pinch the top together to seal. Top with marinara sauce.
4.Bake loaf uncovered for 45-55 min. or mini loaves for 25-30 min. Remove meatloaf when it is brown and crisp around the edges (internal temp 155°F). Let rest 5 min. before cutting loaf into 1 1/2-inch slices or serving individual mini meatloaves with Oven Roasted Broccoli.
