Crispy Salmon Cakes with Tangy Tartar Sauce

Pre-Assembled Tender salmon cakes filled with savory spices and vegetables. Pan-fried and paired with a tangy tartar sauce.

Medium Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator.
1.Preheat oven to 400°F. Place salmon filets on foil-lined baking sheet, drizzle with 1 Tbsp. olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
2.Bake salmon filets for 12-15 min. Remove from oven. Using two forks, shred salmon into flakes. Set aside to cool.
3.Once salmon is cool enough to touch, add flaked salmon to a large mixing bowl and combine with wet and dry mixtures and ½ tsp. of kosher salt. Gently stir to combine.
4.Form salmon cakes and press firmly together to make 6, 1-inch thick cakes. Let rest in refrigerator for 5-10 min.
5.Preheat large sauté pan to med-high heat. Add 1-2 Tbsp. of olive oil to pan. Add cakes to heated oil and cook untouched for 3-4 min. per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Allow to cool on paper towel.
6.Empty tangy tartar sauce into bowl and add ½ tsp of kosher salt. Stir well to combine. Serve immediately with salmon cakes.
