Hearty Braised Beef with Autumn Vegetables

Pre-Assembled Tender braised beef in a tangy brown gravy with roasted root vegetables and baby potatoes.

Medium Prep time: 75 min.

Medium Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator.
1.Preheat oven to 350°F. Place Dutch oven or oven-safe pot on med-high heat and add 1 Tbsp. of olive oil.
2.Season steaks with salt and pepper on both sides. Add to pot and sear steaks on each side for 2 min. Let steaks brown but do not cook through. Remove and set aside.
3.Add gravy to pot with 1 cup of water. Stir to combine and bring to low boil for 1 min. Add vegetables and steaks and stir to coat. Cover pot with lid or foil and bake in oven for 1 hour.
4.Remove from oven and let rest for 5 min. If desired, shred beef and serve with remaining gravy and vegetables.

Medium Crock-Pot Instructions

CROCKPOT ONLY
Thaw in refrigerator.
1.Preheat sauté pan to med. high heat.
2.Season steaks with salt and pepper on both sides. Add 1 Tbsp. of olive oil to pan and sear steaks on each side for 2 min. Let steaks brown but do not cook through.
3.Add steaks, gravy, 1 cup of water, and vegetables to crockpot. Stir to combine.
4.Cover and cook on high setting 4 hrs. or low setting for 8 hrs. (internal temp. 145°F).
5.If desired, shred beef and serve with gravy and vegetables. Enjoy!
