Thaw in refrigerator.
1.Remove apricot butter bag and return to refrigerator. In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar mixture in 1 cup warm water and stir. Allow to proof until yeast resembles a creamy foam, about 5-10 min. 2.Mix the salt and oil into the yeast mixture. To the bowl, mix in flour one cup at a time. 3.Knead dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Place in a well-oiled bowl and turn dough to coat. Cover with a damp cloth. Allow to rise until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour. 4.Punch dough down. Knead for a few minutes. Shape into a loaf, and place into a well-oiled 9x5 inch loaf pan. Allow to rise for 30 minutes, or until dough has risen 1 inch above pan.5.Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
6.When dough has risen, bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
7.Let bread loaf cool completely on a wire rack before slicing. 30 min. before serving, let apricot butter sit to come to room temperature. Massage bag to blend and serve on sliced fresh bread.
