Summer Grilled BBQ Chicken Pizza

Summer Grilled BBQ Chicken Pizza

Pre-Assembled Delicious grilled pizzas topped with diced chicken, red onion, and bacon, over barbecue sauce topped with lots of cheese.

Medium Prep time: 70-85 min.

Medium Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator.
NOTE: Pizza dough is easier to work with and will rise better when at room temperature. For best results, remove pizza dough from refrigerator 1 hour before preparing.
1.Preheat grill on high (approximately 500°F).
2.Meanwhile, place thawed dough on floured cutting board. Flatten dough and roll with rolling pin to form about a 10-12" circle. Repeat with all dough balls.
3.Gather all toppings and place on a baking sheet near grill for easy access for step 5 (once pizzas are on grill you will need to top pizzas quickly).
4.When the grill is hot, reduce the flame to low and add two floured rolled out doughs directly to grill grates. Keep the grill open and allow dough to cook for 1-2 min.
5.Flip pizzas with two spatulas and turn off direct flame, leaving on other indirect flames. Quickly top pizzas with sauce, toppings and cheese. When finished, close grill lid to keep in heat and let cook for another 3-4 minutes or until cheese is melted and dough is cooked through.
6.Remove pizzas from grill to flat surface and let rest 1-2 min. before slicing.
