Customizable 12-inch calzones with choices of Canadian bacon, pepperoni, sausage, cheese, olives, and red onions.
Thaw in refrigerator.
Makes 2 Calzones (1 dough round each)
1.Preheat oven to 400°F. Place thawed dough on floured cutting board and roll to cover with flour. Let rest 10-15 min.
2.Add ¼ tsp. of kosher salt to cheese mixture and massage to combine.
3.Flatten dough by hand or with rolling pin to form about a 12-inch circle.
4.Place dough on a sprayed baking sheet. On one half of the dough circles place 2 Tbsp. of marinara, evenly distribute cheese mixture, meat, and toppings as desired. (Reserve remaining marinara sauce for dipping.)
5.Fold in half to cover filling and pinch edges together tightly.
Cut three, 2-inch slits in top of dough to release steam.
6.Bake 25 min. until golden. Let rest 5 min. before cutting.
