Bacon and Bleu Flank Steak
Fast Lane A tender, marinated flank steak is grilled quickly and sliced, then topped with a garden fresh combination of diced red peppers and mushrooms mixed with a blast of flavor from bacon and blue cheese. Great for entertaining.
Thaw in refrigerator
1.Remove steak from marinade.
2.Broil or grill on med-high to desired temperature for doneness:
125°F for rare (about 4-7 min. per side)
135°F for medium rare (about 5-8 min. per side)
145°F for medium (about 6-9 min. per side)
155°F for medium well (about 7-10 min. per side)
3.Remove from heat and let steak rest for 5-10 min.
4.Meanwhile, sauté bacon mixture over medium heat until mushrooms brown (approx. 5-7 minutes).
5.Slice steak thinly, against the grain, at a 45° angle. Top with bacon mixture and blue cheese crumbles.
Prep time: 30-35 min.
