Cattleman's Pie

Guest Favorite This classic rich English dish combines lean ground beef, herbs and vegetables along with velvety mashed potatoes and Parmesan cheese.

Medium Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator.
1.Preheat oven to 400°F.
2.On stovetop, brown ground beef in nonstick pan over med-high heat. Drain liquid.
3.Add carrot and onion blend. Sauté 2-3 min. Pour in sauce, reduce heat to medium, simmer until thickened and liquid is almost gone. Remove from heat and stir in peas and fresh parsley.
4.Meanwhile, place mashed potatoes in medium saucepan over med heat, stirring frequently until heated through and smooth, 7-10 min. Remove from heat and stir in cheese blend.
5.Spray 8x8 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Add ground beef mixture to bottom of pan. Top with mashed potato blend.
6.Bake uncovered 15-20 min., or until golden and bubbly.

Prep time: 35-45 min.
