Hero Meatball Bake

Fast Lane A de-constructed meatball hero sandwich baked in a pan at home. Layers of sauced and seasoned meatballs, covered with giant garlic bread croutons, then smothered in melted mozzarella cheese.

Medium Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator
1. Preheat oven to 375F. Spray 9 x 9 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Place meatballs in baking dish and top with marinara. Cover with foil and bake 30 min.
3. Remove baking dish and turn broiler to high.
4. Place bread on baking sheet, evenly spread about 1 tsp. of the garlic olive oil on each slice and toast 2 - 3 min., until golden.
5. Place toasted bread slices, golden side down, evenly spaced on top of sauced meatballs. Cover each slice of bread with approx. 2 Tbsp. of mozzarella cheese and broil on high 2 - 3 min. until cheese is melted and bubbly.
6. Serve meatballs and sauce in a bowl with the bread.
