Moroccan Meatball Skewers on Jasmine Rice

Guest Favorite These fun skewered meatballs bring the flavors of the Moroccan coast straight to your plate. You can adjust the spice to make this an all-ages treat.

Medium Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator.
1.Soak skewers in warm water 20-30 min.
2.Preheat oven to 325F.
3.In mixing bowl, combine ground beef and seasoning mixture. Firmly roll to form about 12-14 golf ball-sized meatballs.
4.Spray 8x8 pan with nonstick cooking spray.
5.Thread 3-4 meatballs per bamboo skewer. Place in pan.
6.Cover with 1/2 cup seasoned tomato sauce and reserve remaining sauce.
7.Place in oven and bake 20 min., roll skewer and baste meatballs with remaining seasoned tomato sauce. Bake 20 min. more until brown and slighly crisp
8.Meanwhile, in saucepan, add rice and 1 1/8 cup water. Bring to boil, stir once, cover and cook on low heat for 20-25 min. Fluff with fork.
9.Serve meatballs over jasmine rice and top with remaining sauce or serve for dipping on the side.
