Dream Dinners

Dream Dinners is an innovative concept in meal preparation that eliminates stress by taking away that nagging question of - what am I going to make for dinner tonight? It removes all menu planning, shopping, prep-work and clean-up by moving the meal prep process into specially equipped stores.

Dream Dinners' guests preview a changing monthly menu online at dreamdinners.com and select their dinners from a menu featuring up to 17 items (depending on location) such as Steak Gorgonzola, Penne with Chicken and Peanut Sauce and Firehouse Three Cheese Pasta with Meatballs. Guest's can choose at least 12 medium dinners or six large dinners (or a combination of both).

Guests bring boxes or coolers with them to the Dream Dinners store, where our friendly and knowledgeable staff greet them.

Guests take the uncooked dinners home and freeze them. Each week, three meals are taken from the freezer and placed in the refrigerator to be enjoyed during the upcoming week.

Our guests find that Dream Dinners enables them to provide their families with home-cooked dinners with less stress and more time to enjoy their families.

Dream Dinners meals are priced per menu item, offering guests flexibility with their food budget. Options will include steak, chicken and everything in between.

Each of our stores is independently owned and operated as a franchise, so pricing may vary from store to store. To find a location and see menus, click to Get Started.

Some dinners come with a side dish and these are listed in the recipe description. Additionally Dream Dinners offers a wide variety of pre-assembled side dishes and other add-ons for purchase in our Sides & Sweets freezer. Variety and availability vary by location.
Freezer storage lengths vary by menu item, so we include our suggestions for best quality on each of our cooking instruction labels. After assembling your dinners, the sooner you can get them into your freezer, the better. Don't forget to take out at least 3 dinners at the beginning of each week to thaw in your refrigerator.

We recommend that you take 3 dinners every week from your freezer and place them to thaw in your refrigerator. Depending on where you place them in your refrigerator and what temperature you hold at (recommend 38 - 40 degrees), and what the dinner is, it can take several days (sometimes up to 2 - 5) to completely thaw your Dream Dinners.

Once your dinner is completely thawed, be sure to cook your dinner within these timeframes:

  • Steaks/beef, three to five days
  • Poultry/Pork, one to two days
  • Seafood, one to two days
We are sorry, we are unable to allow guests to split orders.

Our website allows guests to reschedule their visit up to 6 days prior to their visit date. To reschedule your visit, log into your account using your login name and password, then click on "My Account". Click on the upcoming order you wish to reschedule. If your visit can be rescheduled there will be a "Reschedule" link. Click on the "Reschedule" link, and select your new date and time from the calendar then complete the remainder of the rescheduling process. Your account will show the rescheduled date and time of your session and you will receive an email confirmation of the change as well.

If you need to reschedule or cancel your order, please contact us 6 days prior to your visit. Cancellations with 6 or more days' notice will receive a full refund. Cancellations with 5 or fewer days' notice will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.

During inclement weather, please contact your local store to see if your session has been canceled. In the event the store must close, information will be provided on the store's voicemail and every effort will be made to reschedule your order.

Dream Dinners orders ingredients specifically for each guest's dinners prior to the scheduled visit. If your visit is more than 6 days away, you may change your order by contacting your local store for assistance. Order adjustments are subject to availability of ingredients. Whether or not children may attend an in-store assembly visit varies from store to store. In some states, children under the age of 12 are not allowed by state law to participate.
One of our goals at Dream Dinners is to make our visits family-friendly; therefore some of our stores do allow guests to bring their spouse with them to a in-store assembly visit or they may offer special "Date Nights" or "Helper Sessions". Due to the size limitation of our stores, overcrowding of visits can become a concern. In order to provide all of our guests with comfortable visit, and to remain in compliance with local occupancy requirements, Dream Dinners must limit the number of guests in stores at one time. At this time, Dream Dinners does not accept payment using Food Stamps or EBT.

Dream Dinners is pleased to provide nutritional information for all our dinners. The nutritional information is based on individual servings (unless otherwise stated). For example, if one Dream Dinners meal was divided into 6 equal portions, the nutritional information is accurate for one portion.

There are 3 ways to view this information, you can click to Get Started. Once you are on the menu page you can click the Dinner Details link for each menu item. Also, you can login and in your My Account, click on your Upcoming or Previous order. At the bottom of your receipt are links to download the nutritional information for that orders dinners. Additionally, you can visit the Recipe Resources page and search for a specific menu item, then click the link to view it. You will be taken to the Dinner Details page to see the nutritional information.

At this time we are not able to offer a large selection of vegetarian dinners, although some of our stores are able to provide a soy/gluten substitute for chicken. Please call your local store well in advance of your visit to find out if the soy/gluten substitute is available.
While Dream Dinners would love to provide organic meats and produce for our guests, these products are not readily available to all of our stores and are often cost-prohibitive. We do recognize that the availability of organic ingredients is growing and are watching the market very closely. Our goal is to provide great family dinners at prices affordable for all our guests.
Dream Dinners chicken is antibiotic and hormone free. However, we cannot guarantee that all of the meat products used in our meals are free of these ingredients. Dream Dinners food products are similar to those used in fine restaurants and other quality establishments.
Although we do not specifically offer "low-carb" menus, many of our guests who are decreasing their carbohydrate intake have found they are still able to make Dream Dinners work for them. By reviewing the nutritional information on our web site, they are able to choose those meals that are either lower in carbohydrates, or those that can be easily modified by making small substitutions, or by eliminating some of the higher carbohydrate ingredients.
We use low- to non-fat ingredients where we can, without compromising on taste. We also try to use leaner cuts of meat such as boneless, skinless chicken meat. Although we do not specifically offer low-fat menus, many of our guests who are decreasing their fat intake have found they are still able to make Dream Dinners work for them. By reviewing the nutritional information on our web site, they are able to choose those meals that are either lower in fat, or those that can be easily modified by making small substitutions or by eliminating some of the higher fat ingredients.

Many guests enjoy the flexibility that Dream Dinners offers in allowing them to increase, decrease, or substitute ingredients to accommodate their family's tastes while assembling the meals themselves in our stores. For pick up or home delivery orders, there may also be a small charge. Substitutions are at the stores discretion.

It is always a pleasure for us to assist our guests in making substitutions. However, Dream Dinners meals are tested in accordance with the recipes provided. Therefore any substitutions made may alter the taste and cooking instructions of our tested meals.

In compliance with the "Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act of 2004" please note that Dream Dinners' facilities may contain Dairy, Eggs, Crustacean Shellfish, Fish, Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Wheat, Soybeans and Sesame which account for most known allergens. Although Dream Dinners' store staff take appropriate safety measures, guests should be aware that cross contamination can occur among food products in store kitchens and at stations. The standard ingredients are available upon request from your local store, however, ingredient substitutions can be made at the store level due to regional availability. If guests feel that there may be a chance of allergens in any recipe, especially due to a pre-made ingredients, they need to call the store to ask for specific nutritional information.

The nutritional information provided is based on 6-servings (unless otherwise specified.) For example, if one Dream Dinners meal was divided into 6 equal portions, the nutritional information is correct for one portion. It is always a pleasure to assist our guests. Ultimately though, we must leave it up to our guests to determine whether Dream Dinners meals, and the environment in which they are prepared will work for them, in light of their unique concerns.

Dream Dinners strives to provide nutritious, healthy meals. We use low to non-fat ingredients where we can, without compromising on taste. Also, we try to use leaner cuts of meat, such as boneless, skinless, chicken breast.

Dream Dinners understands that the point system belongs to Weight Watchers. Therefore, we are unable to convert our nutritional information over to the Weight Watchers point system for our guests.

Dream Dinners is pleased to provide sodium, net carb and sugar information as part of our nutritional information. In an effort to meet the needs of our guests, many Dream Dinners stores are offering lower-sodium ingredients such as sauces, soups and stocks. Dream Dinners would love to provide more kosher meats and produce for our guests. Presently though, all of our food products are supplied by Sysco Foods, which is a national food distributor. At this time, Sysco Foods does not carry a large selection of kosher food products. For Dream Dinners to purchase these types of foods from another vendor on a national level would result in substantially higher costs for our guests. Our goal is to provide great family dinners at prices affordable for all our guests.
Although Dream Dinners does not use preservatives in our recipes, there may be a small number of prepared ingredients (i.e., condiments, sauces, soups, etc.) used in our recipes which contain preservatives or monosodium glutamate (MSG). If MSG or preservatives are a concern for you, your local store will be happy to review recipe ingredients with you.

Gift Cards

No. We have discontinued our national gift card program. Contact your local store to purchase a gift certificate or learn about available gifting options.

Gift cards are redeemable on our website when placing your order. When entering your payment information, choose the "gift card" payment option and enter your gift card details as well as the gift card value to be redeemed.
Gift cards may not be redeemed for cash or used to obtain cash in any way, except as required by applicable law.

Our payment system allows multiple forms of payment. If your gift card value is less than your order, enter your gift card information and enter your credit or debit card information. Your order summary will reflect both forms of payment.

If your gift card value is more than your order, only the amount of your order will be deducted from your gift card. The remaining value will be available for future orders.

PlatePoints

We are discontinuing our loyalty program, PlatePoints.
The last day to earn points on purchases and other activities is October 31, 2024. You will still be able to redeem your earned Dinner Dollars until their expiration date. We will share future program updates in 2025. Please reach out to your local store with any questions or to learn more about upcoming store promotions.

Q: How can I use my Dinner Dollars?
A: Dinner Dollars can be applied to your order at checkout. Use them towards sides and sweets freezer items, assembly or service fees or dinners for your family.

Dinner Dollars must be used in conjunction with a standard order or can be applied on a second order in the same menu month for any items you choose. They are not intended to be used during a freezer sale or in conjunction with other discounts. Dinner Dollars can only be redeemed at participating stores.

Q: Do I have to use my Dinner Dollars at my next visit?
A: No, you don't have to use your Dinner Dollars during your next visit, but, don't wait too long. Dinner Dollars expire 45 days from their issue date.

Q: Can I give my Dinner Dollars to someone else?
A: Dinner Dollars are non-transferable.

Q: Do Dinner Dollars expire? How will I know when my Dinner Dollars expire, will you notify me?
A: Yes, Dinner Dollars expire 45 days from their issue date. You can always check your account for expiration dates on your available Dinner Dollars. We will also send you a monthly email to keep you posted about your available Dinner Dollars and when they expire.

Q: Can I use my Dinner Dollars in conjunction with other promotions or coupons available?
A: No, Dinner Dollars cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or coupons.

Shipping

Dream Dinners is currently available for shipping across the majority of the United States. We currently cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or outside the 48 contiguous states, and some states have areas we cannot reach due to time in transit.

You can order as many boxes of delicious dinners as you want to be delivered on the same day.

Our menu changes every 4 or 5 weeks. Each menu is based on the month, but we do not follow a traditional calendar schedule. Watch your email for new menu launches.
A medium box contains 4 dinners that each feed 2 – 3 people is $109.99. A large box contains 3 dinners that each feed 4 – 6 people is $159.
Shipping varies.
All Dream Dinners meals are carefully hand packed with insulated liners with either frozen gel packs or dry ice and are delivered via UPS.
Dream Dinners orders can be delivered Tuesday – Friday depending on your area. You will have the opportunity to choose a delivery date during check out. We do not ship orders if they will be in transit over the weekend.
Weather, natural disasters and other uncontrollable events can interrupt delivery service with little warning. Please refer to the tracking number provided with your order or contact our support team via the website with any questions or concerns regarding delivery. In addition, you can visit www.ups.com to sign up for alerts direct from the carrier.
You do not need to be home when the order arrives, but the items do need to be placed in a refrigerator or freezer by 8 pm on the day of arrival. All Dream Dinners shipments are packed with enough dry ice or ice packs to ensure the food stays sufficiently cold during shipping and until 8 pm on delivery day, so the package can remain outdoors safely until you arrive home.
Dry ice is the name given to carbon dioxide when it is in a solid state. Dry ice itself is not poisonous, but the surface of the solid is so cold that it should not be handled without gloves. For safety purposes, recipients should follow the guidelines below:
  • Do not touch dry ice to skin, mouth or eyes.
  • Do not put dry ice in drinks or eat it.
  • Keep dry ice out of reach of children and pets.
  • Store dry ice in an open and well-ventilated area.
  • Never pick up dry ice with bare hands. Always wear hand protection: an oven mitt or heavy cloth towel works well.
  • To dispose of dry ice, use a towel or mitt to protect hands. Place in a well-ventilated area like a garage or shop, or outdoors on a porch or patio, and out of the reach of children or pets. Within 24 hours the solid dry ice will convert to gas. Do not breathe carbon dioxide gas deeply or for an extended period of time

Yes. When placing an order at checkout, just add their address to the Shipping Address section. Additionally, you can check the box that says, "This box is a Gift", and add the recipients email address. We will notify them via email that they have something special coming their way.
