Korean BBQ Steak

Korean BBQ Steak

Tender ranch steaks basted in a sweet and savory Korean BBQ sauce.

Medium Prep time: 45-50 min.

Medium Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator.
1.Preheat broiler. Remove steaks from packaging. Let rest at room temperature for 30 min. prior to cooking. Spray a foil lined baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
2.Meanwhile, in a small sauce pot, heat Korean BBQ sauce to a boil over med. high heat, add desired amount of sriracha. Allow to boil for 1 min., stir and remove from heat.
3.Arrange the steaks on a baking sheet and transfer them to the oven. Choose cooking time from below for desired doneness: NOTE: Shape and thickness of steaks may vary. Adjust cooking times accordingly. Add time for thicker steaks.
125°F for rare (about 4-5 min. per side)
135°F for medium rare (about 5-6 min. per side)
145°F for medium (about 6-7 min. per side)
155°F for medium well (about 7-8 min. per side)
4.Brush top of steaks with sauce, turn and cook 1 min.
5.Brush second side with sauce, turn and cook 1 min.
6.Remove from heat and let rest for 5-10 min. before slicing thinly, against the grain at a 45° angle. Serve with remaining sauce.
