Our Homestyle Stuffing combines cubed french bread, sautéed celery and onions, butter and herbs with a touch of cranberries, apples, and sausage.
Prep time: 40-45 min.
Thaw in refrigerator
1.Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut bread into 1" cubes, evenly spread onto a baking sheet and place in oven while oven is preheating, remove at 5-7 min.
2.In a small saucepot, place spice mix and 1 cup of water (for a moist stuffing, add 1/4 cup more water). Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to low to keep warm.
3.In a skillet over med-high heat, sauté celery, onions and butter blend until tender and golden.
4.Toss together cubed bread mixture, sautéed vegetables, and fruit and sausage mix in baking pan. Evenly pour heated spiced broth over stuffing.
5.Cover with foil and bake for 10-15 min. Uncover and finish baking an additional 10 min.
