Rosemary & Horseradish Crusted Steaks

Light & Lean: Ranch steaks rubbed with a mix of horseradish and herbs braised in a beef broth.

Large Prep time: 30-35 min.

Large Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator.
1.Preheat oven to 350˚F.
2.In a small bowl, empty contents of rosemary and horseradish crust bag and add 1 Tbsp. of olive oil. Stir to thoroughly combine. The mixture should have the consistency of wet sand.
3.Place steaks in a rimmed baking sheet and coat the top side of steaks thoroughly with wet crust mixture.
4.Meanwhile, empty beef base into a small bowl. Add 2 cups of warm water to beef base and stir to fully dissolve. Pour heated beef broth around steaks (not over) into rimmed baking pan.
5.Bake steaks for 15-20 min. (135°F for medium rare ) or longer for desired doneness. Turn oven to broil and cook until the crusts on steaks turn golden brown.
6.Remove from heat, let rest 5 min. and serve with seasoned cooking broth if desired.
*NOTE: To keep steaks tender, slice the steaks across the grain.
