Meatloaf Milano with Mashed Potatoes

Meatloaf Milano with Mashed Potatoes

Lightly seasoned lean ground chuck filled with a creamy layer of gorgonzola cheese, topped with a rich marinara sauce. Served with Seasoned Mashed Potatoes.

Medium Prep time: 55-60 min.

Medium Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator.
*Prepare Seasoned Mashed Potatoes per separate cooking instructions provided.
1.Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a foil-lined baking sheet or muffin tin (for mini meatloaves) with nonstick cooking spray.
2.Add ground beef and 1/4 tsp. kosher salt into breadcrumb bag and massage to thoroughly combine.
MEATLOAF: shape 1/2 the meat into a 4x6x2" loaf and place on baking sheet. Sprinkle gorgonzola cheese evenly over beef to within 1" of edge. Press remaining beef mixture on top. Top with marinara sauce. Bake uncovered for 45-55 min.
MINI LOAVES: roll into 6 balls and press into cups of muffin tin. Evenly distribute gorgonzola cheese into the meatloaves by pressing the middle of each ball and pinch the top together to seal. Top with marinara sauce. Bake for 25-30 min.
3.Remove meatloaf or mini loaves when brown and crisp around the edges (internal temp. 160°F).
4.Let rest 5 min. before cutting loaf into 1 1/2-inch slices or serving individual mini meatloaves with Seasoned Mashed Potatoes.

Thaw in refrigerator.

1.Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Spray basket with nonstick cooking spray.
2.Add ground beef and 1/4 tsp. kosher salt into breadcrumb bag and massage to thoroughly combine.
MEATLOAF: shape 1/2 the meat into 4x6x2" loaf. Sprinkle gorgonzola cheese evenly over beef to within 1" of edge. Press remaining beef mixture on top and place into basket. Cook for 20-25 min. Spread marinara sauce evenly over the top of the loaf and continue to cook for 5 min. (internal temp. 160°F).
MINI LOAVES: roll into 6 balls and use your thumb to create a little well in the middle. Evenly distribute gorgonzola cheese into the meatloaves and pinch the tops together to seal. Place into basket and make sure they are spaced apart. Cook for 12-14 min. Spread marinara sauce evenly over the top and continue to cook for 3 min. (internal temp. 160°F).
3.Let rest 5 min. before cutting loaf into 1 1/2-inch slices or serving individual mini meatloaves with Seasoned Mashed Potatoes.
