Lightly toasted orzo with garlic and a hint of shallots. Perfect side to accompany any meal.
Prep time: 15-20 min.
Thaw in refrigerator.
1.Add 1 tsp. olive oil, onions and orzo to small sauce pan. Saute 7-8 min. over med. heat, until orzo starts to toast and becomes golden brown.
2.Add parmesan chicken stock and 1 1/2 cup water to orzo and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low and simmer 8-10 min. stirring frequently until all moisture is absorbed and orzo is tender.
3.Stir in garlic butter, until melted. Serve.
