Penne pasta in a three-cheese sauce, mixed with bacon, and topped with crunchy BBQ breadcrumbs.
Medium Prep time: 40-45 min.
Thaw in refrigerator or cook from frozen.
1.Preheat oven to 350°F.
THAWED:
2.Remove lid and discard. Remove bags from pan. Add 1/2 cup of water to sauce bag and massage to mix. Pour sauce over penne and gently stir to combine. Cover pan with foil sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside topping bag.
3.Bake for 30 min.
FROZEN:
2.Remove lid and discard. Remove bags from pan and place sauce bag under cold water to slightly defrost, 7-10 min. Add 1/2 cup of warm water to bag, pour over penne, and gently stir to combine. Cover pan with foil sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside topping bag.
3.Bake for 50-55 min.
TOPPING:
4.Add 1/4 tsp. kosher salt to topping bag and shake to combine.
5.Remove foil, stir, and sprinkle evenly with topping. Bake uncovered an additional 8-10 min. until golden and bubbly.
6.Remove from oven and let stand for 5-7 min. before serving.
Large Prep time: 55-60 min.
