Korean BBQ Flank Steak

Medium Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator.
1.Preheat broiler or grill.
2.Remove steak from packaging. Let rest at room temperature for 30 min. prior to cooking.
3.Meanwhile, heat Korean BBQ sauce to a boil over med-high heat, add desired sriracha for heat preference. Allow to boil for 1 min, stir and remove from heat. Reserve 1/2 sauce.
4.Choose time from below for desired doneness:
125°F for rare (about 4-5 min. per side)
135°F for medium rare (about 5-6 min. per side)
145°F for medium (about 6-7 min. per side)
155°F for medium well (about 7-8 min. per side)
5.Using reserved 1/2 sauce, brush half of sauce on one side of steak. Cook steak sauce side up. Flip steak and brush with remaining half of sauce and finish cooking.
6.Remove from heat and let steak rest for 5-10 min. before slicing thinly, against the grain at a 45° angle. Serve with remaining sauce.
