Family Seafood Boil

New Gather your family for a delicious and fun interactive seafood dinner. The secret is in the broth as you boil baby potatoes, smoked sausage, and our seafood medley. A final toss in seasoned butter and you have an East Coast feast.

Medium Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator
1.Cut lemon into quarters, set 2 of the quarters aside.
2.In a large pot, add 12 cups of water. To the water add; broth seasoning, whole cloves of garlic, and remaining 2 quarters of lemon. Place pot on med-high heat and bring to a boil.
3.While pot comes to a boil, remove seafood from packaging and rinse thoroughly (NOTE: Seafood mixes may vary.) Separate clams and mussels from shrimp and white fish if present.
4.Once at a boil, add potatoes and cook for 6 min.
5.Next, add mollusks (clams and mussels), cook for 5 min. more. Then add corn, sausage, shrimp and remaining seafood. Cook for another 3-4 min.
6.Place butter mixture into a small bowl, add ¼ cup of hot broth liquid and stir to combine.
7.To serve, drain the pot of the remaining liquid and toss seafood mixture in a large mixing bowl with melted butter sauce. Discard any unopened mussels or clams.
8.To serve traditionally: Empty contents of bowl on to table lined with newspaper or disposable table cloth outside. Serve with remaining lemon quarters and enjoy!
