Summer Shrimp Boil

Summer Shrimp Boil

A flavorful broth with baby potatoes, smoked sausage, mini corn cobs, and plenty of shrimp.

Medium Prep time: 35-40 min.

Medium Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator.
1.Cut lemon into quarters, set 2 of the quarters aside.
2.In a large pot, add 12 cups of water. Add broth seasoning, whole cloves of garlic, 2 quarters of lemon, and desired amount of red pepper flakes. Place pot on med-high heat and bring to a boil.
3.Remove shrimp from packaging and rinse thoroughly.
4.Once at a boil, add potatoes and cook for 6 min.
5.Add corn, sausage, and shrimp. Cook for another 3-4 min.
6.Place butter mixture into a small bowl, add ¼ cup of hot broth liquid and stir to combine.
7.To serve, drain the pot of the remaining liquid (remove bay leaves) and toss shrimp mixture in a large mixing bowl with melted butter sauce.
8.To serve traditionally: Empty contents of bowl on to table lined with newspaper or disposable tablecloth outside. Serve with remaining lemon quarters and enjoy!
