1.Preheat grill or broiler to med-high heat.
2.Heat small sauce pot on med-high heat and add bacon jam mixture. Bring mixture to boil, immediately reduce heat to low and continue cooking for 10-12 min. Stir occasionally to prevent burning. The mixture should reduce and thicken. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
3.Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, combine ground beef with burger seasoning. Portion into 3 equal patties. Indent the middle of each patty so that they cook evenly. Set aside for 5 min.
4.Grill patties for 5-6 min. each side. Add Swiss cheese in the final minute of cooking to melt. Remove from heat.
5.Toast buns under broiler or grill for 1-2 min. or until golden.
6.Assemble burgers with buns, patty with cheese, and top with cooled bacon jam.
