Slow Roasted Carolina BBQ Pork Tenderloin

Fast Lane Your family will love this unique tangy golden BBQ sauce with hints of sweetness. Slow roasted in this BBQ sauce, our pork tenderloin falls apart creating a mouth-watering combination.

Medium Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator
OVEN: 1.Preheat oven to 350°F. 2.In a large oven-safe pot, like a Dutch oven, heat on stove over med-high heat. Add 1 Tbsp of oil to the pot. 3.Remove pork tenderloin from bag and season with salt and pepper. Add seasoned pork to heated pot and brown pork on all sides, about 2 min per side. 4.Brush ½ of the sauce on top of the pork. Add ¼ cup of water to the pot. immediately cover with lid and place in oven. Bake for 35-45 min. until cooked through (Internal temp 145°F). Reserve remaining sauce in refrigerator.
CROCKPOT: 1.Remove pork loin from bag and season with salt and pepper. 2.Add seasoned pork loin to crockpot and ½ of the sauce on top of the pork and cook on LOW 6-8 hours. Reserve remaining sauce in refrigerator.
TO SERVE:Remove pork tenderloin from pot and let rest for 5 min. Meanwhile, place remaining sauce in a bowl and heat for 1 min. in microwave. With two forks, shred pork and pour heated sauce over top.
