Springtime Risotto with Shrimp and Asparagus

New Treat Yourself: A flavorful herbed risotto blended with parmesan cheese, shrimp, and bite-sized pieces of asparagus.

Large Prep time: 35-40 min.

Large Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator.
1.In med-large saucepan, add 4 cups water and bring to a boil.
2.Add the rice mixture, stirring occasionally until boiling. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 25-27 min.
3.Meanwhile, remove asparagus from bag, pat dry, and cut each spear into bite-sized pieces. Drain and rinse shrimp and pat dry.
4.Add shrimp, asparagus pieces and sauce bag (without peas) to rice. Stir and bring to a simmer. Cover for 5-7 min. until rice is tender. Remove from heat.
5.Stir in pea mixture until well combined.
6.Serve and enjoy!
