Small clams steamed in a butter sauce flavored with garlic, lemon juice and white wine (delicious to dip warm sourdough bread in!) make these a quick and easy appetizer or serve with a nice green salad and make it dinner.
1. Remove frozen clams from bag and place in colander.
2. Rinse under hot water for 2-3 minutes (clams will start to open)
3. Let rest hour in colander.
4. Pre-heat oven to 350F. add bread and heat for 5-6 minutes.
5. Meanwhile add butter mixture to saut pan, heat over medium heat 3-4 minutes add clams, cover and saut 2-3 minutes.
6. Serve clams with garlic butter sauce and warm bread for dipping.
