Asian Pork Satay with Jasmine Rice

Guest Favorite Tender pork skewers, marinated in an Asian soy blend for a dinnertime delight are perfectly paired with our light and aromic jasmine rice. Serve as a complete meal or as an easy appetizer with dipping sauce.

Medium Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator
Add water to bag of skewers, re-seal and let soak for 10 min.
RICE: In sauce pan, add rice and 1-1/8 cups water. Bring to boil. Stir once, cover and cook on low heat for 20-25 min. Fluff with fork.
1.Preheat broiler to high. Spray baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
2.Remove pork from marinade and place on cutting board. Pour marinade into sauce pan. Over med-high heat bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer on low.
3.Meanwhile, if desired, trim fat off pork chops. Cut each pork chop into 3 long strips for a total of 9 pieces of pork.
4.Thread each piece of pork onto a skewer and place on sprayed baking sheet.
5.Place baking sheet with skewers under broiler and cook 2-3 min. per side.
6.Remove skewers from oven, serve over jasmine rice and drizzle with sauce.
